POWDER BROW /OMBRE BROW

It is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo using a digital machine, giving you that "filled in" look. Full shaded brows can range from a soft powdery look to a more dense and bold “Instagram brow” look. Shading is better suited for those who like the look of brow makeup, but don't want to fill them in every day.
This can range from a soft powdery look to a bolder and more dense brow look.

PMU (Permanent Makeup) utilizes a machine to implant the pigment, puncturing the skin gently with a specialized needle. This approach is less invasive and virtually pain-free compared to microblading.
The gentler nature of the powder brows procedure ensures a quicker recovery. Post-treatment swelling subsides within hours, and the micro-wounds heal, revealing natural-looking eyebrows in just approx. 4-5 days.

TARGET AUDIENCE FOR POWDER/OMBRE BROWS

Powder/Ombre brows are ideal for both young and mature women who prefer subtle enhancements to their appearance. It’s especially beneficial for individuals with sparse or gapped eyebrows, offering a solution that withstands heat and water—a perfect choice before vacations. Consider powder brows if you:

  • Seek long-lasting makeup that resists washing off
  • Have recently changed your hair color
  • Possess imperfect eyebrows lacking contour or with gaps
  • Have experienced color loss due to prolonged sun exposure
  • Have asymmetrical eyebrows

In the world where beauty often demands sacrifice—time, money, and effort spent on cosmetics and salon visits—powder brows emerge as a convenient alternative.

PAIN AND DISCOMFORT

Powder brows minimally injure the skin’s top layer. While those with a low pain threshold might experience some discomfort, it’s far from painful. A special numbing cream applied ensures reduced skin sensitivity during the procedure.

PREPARING FOR THE TREATMENT

24 Hours Prior:

  • Avoid alcohol and energy drink on the day of the treatment, refrain from coffee

One Week Prior:

  • Cease eyebrow plucking and avoid greasy creams that could alter skin or hair color
  • Avoid exfoliating, using scrubs, or undergoing eyebrow lamination
  • Stay away from tanning beds or sunbathing; UV rays can irritate the skin, increasing sensitivity during the procedure and complicating the pigment matching process.

Three Days Before and After:

  • Consult your doctor and consider pausing medications affecting coagulation to expedite healing. Avoid aspirin, commonly used for headaches.
  • Inform your PMU artist about any medications you’re taking to assess their impact on the post-treatment recovery.

THE PROCEDURE

The powder brows procedure, spanning 2–3 hours, unfolds in several stages:

  • Removal of makeup and antiseptic application
  • Pigment tone selection
  • Drawing the eyebrow contour on the skin
  • Application of a numbing gel
  • Stepwise injection of the dye under the skin

POST-PROCEDURE HEALING

You may experience some slight redness in the brow area after powder brows treatment. The color darkens after a day, so you should not worry, you need to wait for some time, and your eyebrows will acquire the desired shade. By the 3-5. th day, crusts may form and flake off. Within a week, all noticeable effects subside.

HEALING PROCEDURE OF EYEBROW TATTOO

  • After a fresh eyebrow tattoo, it is very important to follow the rules for the healing of your eyebrows.
  • The skin may become slightly crusty and peel, in case of using high-end makeup tattoo machines, only mild peeling is typically experienced.
  • It is forbidden to tear off the skin pieces, they must be allowed to fall off on their own.
  • Rubbing or soaking the tattooed surface is also not allowed, as this reduces the durability of the pigments.
  • Fresh eyebrow tattoos must not be subjected to mechanical damage, so scraping or scratching is prohibited! It should only be cleaned with a damp cotton pad, using a so-called “patting motion” with the cotton pad, i.e. just touching the wet cotton pad to the skin surface, without pulling or stretching the skin, so that the pigments are perfectly integrated into the skin.
  • Correction if needed, is recommended at least within 2 to 3 months, but sometimes it is not necessary because the result is perfect at the first time. During the correction, we replace any pigments that may have fallen out and strengthen the color. We can promise durability of 1-3 years.

EYEBROW TATTOO TREATMENT AND PROTECTION

  • When your eyebrows are done, use the aftercare provided for approx. 7-10 days. The tattoo should not be exposed to water and UV radiation for at least 2 weeks, so saunas, swimming pools, sunbathing and solariums are prohibited. These rules must also be followed after the correction included in the treatment, so the eyebrow tattoo will be more durable and homogeneous.
  • Eyebrow tattoos usually start to fade after 1-3 years. The durability of the tattoo depends on the skin type, skin problems, age, environmental influences, the quality and quantity of the pigment applied, the strength of the color and how deep the pigments are in the skin.
  • Our skin wears out continuously throughout our lives, and is replaced on average every 28 days. Tattooed skin wears out together with the painted skin layer, which is why makeup tattoos fade. There are several reasons for faster wear:
  • If your skin is oily, acne-prone, or dehydrated, the makeup tattoo will fade faster. The skin of young people wears off faster than that of the elderly, so eyebrow tattoos need to be repeated more often.
  • If we expose our skin to UV radiation, it will also wear off faster. In such cases, it is worth using a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 50, which forms a protective layer on the skin, thus protecting the pigments. Do not use acid peeling or exfoliation on the skin over the makeup tattoos.
  • We can promise 1-3 years of durability.

POST-TREATMENT CARE

To stay satisfied with the treatment outcome for a long time:

  • Avoid touching, washing, or scratching the eyebrows for 1-2 weeks
  • Refrain from peeling off the healing crusts
  • Avoid alcohol-based products and sun exposure until the crusts fall off
  • Stay away from scrubs, peeling gels, and eyebrow pluckin

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULT LAST

As we said at the beginning, the longevity of the powder brows effect is influenced by several key factors:

  • The quality of the PMU pigments and their characteristics such as color retention
  • If you do touch-ups regularly, beautiful eyebrows will keep pleasing you as long as your permanent makeup is maintained

In addition, the durability of the injected pigment is influenced by the characteristics of the body:

  • skin condition
  • age
  • immune system respons

WHEN YOU NEED A TOUCH-UP?

  • The first touch-up visit if needed should be 60-90 days after the initial treatment. The permanent makeup artist inspects the treated area and, if necessary, takes care of any gaps that may have formed after exfoliation started and the crusts formed.
